CALLING ALL DANCERS, SINGERS, MUSICIANS & ACTORS!!!

Sydney Eisteddfod invites performers from anywhere and everywhere, to participate in their Crowd Favourites competition! Dancers, Singers, Musicians and Actors from ages between 10 & 35, are encouraged to upload their videos for the chance to win over $6,000 worth of prizes. Entrants are encouraged to be as creative with their videos as they like (within entry conditions, see T&Cs).


AUDIENCE VOTE

For the 24 successful Finalists, your videos will be released to the public for voting. Voting will open on Thursday October 1 and will close on Friday October 23, 2020.

Each week, the finalists with the least number of votes will be removed to reveal the 16 semi-finalists and 8 finalists.

You will have your own personal weblink to share with your family and friends to vote. 

*** Due to the overwhelming amount of entries, we will announce 33 finalists on Oct 1. 


WINNER ANNOUNCEMENTS

The four winners of the Audience Awards and four Jury Awards will then be announced online on Tuesday October 27, 2020. A range of Highly Commended Certificates may also be awarded by the Jury.

The four Crowd Favourite Winners will each receive $1,000! The four Jury award winners will each receive $500.

Please note that if you entered as a performance duo or group, the prize money will paid to the main entrant name upon entry.

Sydney Eisteddfod is a not-for-profit organisation which began in 1933 that presents the annual Sydney Eisteddfod, one of the largest and most successful competitive performing arts festivals of its type in the world.

Promoting the pursuit of excellence, especially amongst young people, with opportunities to perform in public through professionally judged competitions, assisting aspiring performers  and developing lifelong engagement in the performing arts.

We spread our reach locally, nationally and internationally by connecting with like-minded people and communities, thereby developing future audiences and providing life-changing success and international career opportunities for the participants.

WITH OUR ANNUAL COMPETITION THIS YEAR CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19. OUR AIM IS TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS COMMUNITY TO PERFORM AND ENGAGE WITH THE PUBLIC.
